Rotaliana wall lamp, Totem & Tabù model.

The silhouette resembles a primitive mask hanging on the wall and gives off an indirect light that seems to ward off fears and give shape to desires. The Totem & Tabù lamp is inspired by the well-known book by Sigmund Freud and seems to want to bring us back to the basic emotions and themes of our times: amazement in the face of the force of nature, capable of reacting in an unpredictable way (climate change, pandemics) and of awakening feelings of deep fear in us. In this context, light brings confidence and hope back.

Conceived in this way, the lamp designed by Giovanni Lauda is more than a piece of furniture with a minimal design.

In this version, with a writable slate surface, it also carries messages, thoughts and reminders to write for ourselves or to elegantly deliver to other family members.
