Re-Chair powered by Illycaffè

Kartell plastic chair, Re-Chair model.

The iconic eco-sustainable chair designed by Antonio Citterio now available in a new version. Faithful to its green soul, in this model Re-Chair is made with recycled plastic starting from Illycaffè waste capsules.

Before being filled with coffee, the plastic components of the Iperespresso capsules are pierced to allow the coffee to escape. During this process, capsules with an incorrect puncture or incorrect packaging are separated and set aside to be transformed back into raw material.

Kartell shreds and regenerates the material of the capsules to create the Re-Chair, giving new life to plastic.

The result is a design chair with a green soul, made with high quality and extremely versatile raw materials, suitable for both interior and outdoor spaces.

The dimensions are (L x W x H): 50.5 x 49 x 79 cm; seat height 44.5 cm.

Re-Chair is stackable up to 6 chairs.
