PRODUCT DESIGN STUDIO
The study deals with the design, planning and development of mass produced products (product design). The product sectors in which we operate are various: medical furnishing, automotive, motorcycle accessories, aesthetic medical equipment, bathroom furnishings, household appliances, mobile and fixed telephones, light design, yacht design, etc
On the basis of a design brief that is defined together with the customer, a series of design proposals is defined (concept design) through free hand designs and/or 2D/3D rendering, models of study, etc, with indications on the colours, geometries, finishes and technologies for the mass production with relative production costs.
Once the concept design to be developed has been identified, the designs are realised to the scale of 1:1 of the object that can be accompanied by an initial prototype (mock-up) for verification of geometries and the correct ergonomics. Next comes the 3D modelling stage carried out with CAD modelling software for three-dimensional representation of the design through photorealistic rendering for simulation of the materials and surface finishes.
At this level of development of the plan, engineering takes place, aimed at the realisation of functional prototypes suitable for any tests by the customer, and the executive designs for realisation of the production systems.
With engineering, it is possible to obtain constant verification of the design thanks to the realisation of quick prototypes to scale 1:1 which are functional and suitable for any tests by the customer.
Moreover, this stage of work allows the supply of all the necessary information for the realisation of the productive equipment (thermoforming moulds, injection, rotational, moulding of polyurethane resin, rigid polyurethane, moulds and workings of metal, wood, glass, ceramic, etc).
Finally the workshop offers direct contact with skilled suppliers, national and foreign, for the realisation of equipment and is equipped with an internal laboratory for the realisation of pre- series and small production runs.
